Welcome to our carol service live stream, launching this year's Winter Appeal. This winter, the crisis of homelessness in Cornwall has reached unprecedented levels. The escalating cost of living crisis and a critical shortage of affordable housing has left more individuals without secure accommodation than ever before. St Petrocs supported 1271 people last year (2022) and although the data for 2023 is incomplete, it shows a significant increase in people using our services, showing that the homelessness crisis is worsening in Cornwall. Our ability to continue vital work relies on the generosity of individuals like you. Sleeping outside during the winter exposes people to severe, and at times life-threatening, conditions. Your donation to our annual Winter Appeal can be a lifeline for those in desperate need, providing them with a beacon of warmth and hope. The funds raised go directly toward emergency shelter and essential services that offer pathways out of homelessness. Last winter, 90% of all people that used our Winter Services were supported into longer term accommodation. Please, consider making a donation to our Winter Appeal.
