With all the progress on the Eastern end of the Lichfield canal we take a look at the middle section and what might happen. Following the old Mcclean way, Back the tracks current project to restore a greenway between Walsall and Lichfield we look at the old bridges, locks and other structures and history behind the canal. Also taking in Aqueducts, Sandfields and Pipehill pumping stations that once fed water from Lichfield to the Black Country to combat Cholera.
