Some ingredients can also be used for other things, such as cleaning, cooking and sun care, and will last you for years. Shopping list: Cold pressed coconut oil Shea butter and/or cocoa butter Extra virgin olive oil (preferably also cold pressed) Aloe vera gel- as pure as possible (98-99%) Lavender essential oil (All of these can usually be found at a natural food market) Equipment needed: Hand mixer or a good whisk Stainless steel bowl Pot for boiling water (big enough for the bowl to rest on top of) Mixing spoon Measuring cups and spoons A container to hold the finished cream (I got mine for $2 at a thrift store)
