In this week’s sailing vlog, we continue our voyage across the South China Sea and arrive at Tioman Island, Malaysia — a paradise for diving, snorkeling, lush jungles, and tropical beauty. After a 3-day sail, we reached Tioman and safely picked up a mooring. But challenges arrived early — our dinghy refused to start during domestic check-in! Thankfully, a fellow sailor came to the rescue, turning stress into friendship. This episode became truly unforgettable as we celebrated Vaidehi’s birthday underwater! With Tioman Reef Divers, we explored coral reefs, spotted an eel, and swam alongside four stingrays. We even had our first-ever cave dive — an experience beyond words. Later, we met Patrick & Sarah, an experienced diving couple from Singapore with over 200 dives at Tioman. Together, we explored Chebeh Island and Malang Rock, two of the island’s top dive sites.
