Welcome back my meatlets. After what feels like a lifetime, we have finally returned to Nunavut which, for those unfamiliar, is the most remote Northern region in Canada. This time, we are in unfamiliar territory... In a land that likely has one of the highest concentrations of Polar Bears on planet earth. Welcome to my new part-time home of Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut. With a population somewhere between 300-350 people and no roads in or out, "Chester" would certainly be on a short list of smallest, most remote communities in North America. With average temperatures that could freeze your actual face off and some of the only predators on earth that view humans as prey, this place is not for the faint of heart. Come along as my new homie and lifetime resident of Chesterfield Inlet, DEADLY DOUG shows us a little glimpse of his stomping grounds. Doug is an avid sport fisherman and hunter who has mastered the art of mixing modern fishing technology with the timeless traditions of his Inuit ancestors that stood the test of time.
