I got a call from my mate Ollie at Free Range Hunting New Zealand - they’d had a few brief encounters with a giant buck known as The Ghost Buck, a deer that’s earned its name by its elusive behavior and the rare sightings. Ollie asked if I wanted to come down and film the hunt for this legendary animal, he said there was no guarantees we'd find it but it could make for an amazing hunt if we did. Of course, I said yes - we locked in the trip and set out after him. What followed was a wild ride: a face-off with a monster boar, countless deer encounters, and non-stop action in the hills.
