Girls stripped for period check after blood stains found in Thane school's washroom

Girls from a Maharashtra school, between classes 5 and 10, were forced to strip and be checked by school staff. The private school in Maharashtra performed checks on minor girls after blood stains were found in a washroom. The bizarre incident occurred at the RS Damani school in Shahapur district of Thane on July 8. The parents of the students have filed a complaint against the school with the Shahpur Police. Around 8 people from the school, including the principal and two trustees, have been booked under POCSO.
