The surgical technique of Arthroscopic Latarjet. Latarjet procedure of coracoid bone transfer is a highly successful method of currection of shoulder dislocation in special indications, like glenoid (cup side) bone loss, Large Hill Sach lesion (ball side bone loss), revision of a Bankart Surgery etc. Arthroscopic technique although technically demanding, has several advantages like less scar, less blood loss, less postoperative pain, ability to correct concomitant pathology and capsular repair which exteriorises the transferred coracoid bone graft. The coracoid bone transfer diverts the conjoint tendon attachment to the front of the shoulder joint, thus giving a 'dynamic sling effect' which gives a robust support in front of the joint and has very little failure rate. This procedure is successfully done for athletically active individuals so as to restore their shoulder function.
