The final installment of the Stephen King, Silver Bullet (1985), Then and Now: Filming Location video (1985 vs 2021). This finishes the last of the filming locations and includes a never before published location of Mac's Gun Shop and also shows the exact locations of the baseball scene where Rev. Lowe stalks Marty and the locations of the chase and where the covered bridge scene was filmed. The video ends at the Coslaw house location. I filmed twice down in the Burgaw and Wilmington areas, September and December 2021. This is a long video but I love to dive into the details One of my motto's is, "Details Matter". I want to thank my two boys for filming me on the two different trips. That is Dylan's voice at the very end of the video and that is him on the baseball field with me. We spent about 45 minutes hitting and throwing the baseball on the field from the movie. Very fun time!!! Dylan and I met with Jock Brandis for milkshakes afterwards, but not at Robertson's Luncheonette. Jock not only worked on this film but also on Maximum Overdrive (filmed the next year). I currently working with Jock on a project that involves Katherine Hepburn. There will be a video out later this year on that collaboration. The covered bridge was a prop for the movie. It never existed as a real covered bridge but the bridge it was built on existed and you can still visit the real location of where this great scene was filmed on Shaw Highway in Burgaw.
