🌿 Freesia McKee — Bio (2026) Freesia McKee is a poet, essayist, and educator whose work explores place, memory, gender, social practice, and the emotional textures of everyday life. She writes across genres—poetry, hybrid forms, lyric essays, memoir, flash fiction, book reviews, and literary criticism—with a voice rooted in radical compassion, community, and ecology. Freesia has published three poetry chapbooks: • City of Honesty (2025) • Hummingbird Vows (2023) • How Distant the City (2018) Her work appears in journals such as Foglifter, Tinderbox, Yes Poetry, and The Ploughshares Blog.
