Unlike the more common road-side line, this route cuts away from the Beechworth-Chiltern Road to tackle massive granite slabs and some narrow flat track and tricky off-camber sections that will test your side-knob grip. Eventually, we merge back with the left line for that classic high-speed finish along the edge of the road. The Heckler SL is the perfect tool for this—light enough to hop over the technical granite gaps but planted enough to stay composed on the off-camber chutes.
