Orange Rockerverb 100 MKII Demo Check out the Orange Rockerverb 100 Here: https://amzn.to/2VgtQl3 Hey Guys! Thanks for stopping by my channel, I appreciate it! In this video I'm running through some sounds with my trusty and bulletproof Orange Rockerverb 100 MKII. I've used this amp as my main gigging amplifier for the majority of the last 7 years! It's been an absolute workhorse and has never let me down. I love it so much! However, there are some aspects of this amp that can make it a bit of a pain in the arse! The main thing being that It's incredibly heavy! This is not a light amplifier by any means, as you'd expect from any 100 watt head. The combined weight of the head inside my flight case comes close to 25kg. A back breaker for sure! And that's not including the 2x12 cab that I have to lug around so I can actually get a sound. A small price to pay though for the incredible sounds and volume you can get out of this beast. When I'm out playing live, I find that I tend to use the dirty channel 9 out of 10 times. The clean channel is great, but being as it's 100 watts, it has a lot of headroom and you WILL NOT get the clean channel to break up. So, if you're after a clean channel that you can crank and get some nice edge of breakup tones as a great platform for your overdrive pedals, you're better off checking out something like the Orange Dual Terror (30w) or any other lower wattage Orange amp. The two channels are foot switchable. However, I've found that I can get most of the sounds I want out of the Dirty channel. I usually set the gain control to just under half way as a solid rhythm sound and then use an overdrive to give it a push for solos. For cleans, I just simply roll back the volume on my guitar. I like to still have a little grit in my cleans so this works well for me personally. Don't be fooled by the name. This is certainly a rock and roll monster, but It can give you pretty much any sound you could want. Beautiful glassy cleans, Authentic Texas Blues tones with s Strat, Classic Rock, Hard Rock and all the way to HEAVY AS HELL METAL! It's built like a tank, it won't let you down and most Importantly....It sounds INCREDIBLE! And all at pretty much any volume. If you're more of a rock player, but want something with a little more versatility than say....a Marshall. I'd strongly recommend checking out the Orange Rockerverb 100 MKII, or any of the great products from Orange amplifiers. Thanks again for stopping by!
