I was expecting to capture some spectacular footage or a spectacular crash - watch to the end and find out! This is a no-holds-barred maiden flight with a GoPro strapped underneath. This test wasn’t just about the camera - I also show a clever fix for a known weak point: the landing gear. Some of you Sportix 1.1m pilots may have experienced the stock landing gear tearing out of the plastic chassis. We reinforced mine with a bolt-through mod and an aluminium plate to keep her airborne.
