Lily - Smashing Pumpkins (Fan-made Music Video Storyboard)

A boy befriends the next-door neighbour's cat Lily, he repeatedly attempts to see her despite the restrictions of her old-grumpy owner. His love for her grows strong, dreaming of being with her forever, but he soon learns that you must leave the things you love behind to grow up. This is my interpretation of the song, inspired by the rumours of it being about Billy Corgan's cat named Lily. I connected it to my personal bittersweet experience of growing up with cats and leaving them behind to pursue college. I look back at them fondly and know that they are proud of me. I chose to make a more heartfelt story to practice my skills at directing storyboards. Let me know what you guys think.
