A place which gifts its visitors with fantastic experience A place where you can go deep into the animal world Welcome to my video on Bioparc in Valencia Congolese Gorillas, Madagascan Lemurs, Savannah, Lions, the Nile Hippos to name a few; there are close to a 1000 animals of 150 different African species at Valencia Bioparc. It aims to give the visitors the chance to experience the African Continent and learn the importance of protecting natural environment. Bioparc Valencia, situated in city’s Cabecera Park is a new style of zoo created from the concept of a zoo immersion exhibit. Here the visitors get completely submerged into the natural habitat of animals; and get to know the behavioural habits and surroundings of the animals intimately. The park is divided into 4 main areas. In the dry savannah, you can find the rhinoceros, zebras, ostriches and hyena while the wet land houses giraffes, antelopes, meerkats and lions. The perfectly recreated Baobab forest is home to a dozen elephants. The island of Madagascar is a must visit place as you are able to get close with the lemurs. A re-creation of the Kitum Cave is home to hippopotamus and crocodiles. In theh forests of Equatorial Africa, one of park’s biggest attractions, the visitors will encounter gorillas, leopards, otters and pythons. The park is open 365 days a year from 10 to 6 pm. From April to September, the opening hours are extended till 8 pm. The entry tickets are available online or at the Bioparc counters. Bioparc Valencia definitely is worth adding to your bucket list.
