4K Virtual Run Through 800 Year Old University | Salamanca Spain Historic Treadmill Running Scenery

Today we run just under 40 minutes through Salamanca, Spain and its university the University of Salamanca. The university is the fourth oldest higher education institution in Europe having been founded in 1218. This virtual workout takes us through cobblestone streets, past historic cathedrals and along narrow streets full of shops and cafes. We finish going through one of Salamanca's most beautiful parks, Parque de los Jesuitas. And of course, everything is in crystal clear 4k resolution. Salamanca, Spain was first conquered by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century B.C. It was then a Roman settlement before it fell under Moorish control until the 11th century. The university was founded in the 13th century and was one of the most important institution in Europe during Spain's golden age. It is here that the modern Spanish language was first formally studied by Antonio de Nebrija in his Gramática de la Lengua Castellana. Enjoy the workout, and comment where I should run next!
