DECISION TIME! New Ferrari 849 TESTAROSSA First Drive

There's a decision to make about the new Ferrari 849 Testarossa! I'm driving the SF90's successor for the first time on both the road and racetrack, plus getting to know it in detail, during the global media test drive in Spain. With a big cost to change from the SF90, what about the 849TR? The reuse of the Testarossa name has certainly raised some eyebrows, in this case referencing the 'red head' - the V8's cam covers. The 4.0l TT V8 pairs up to 3 electric motors in the hybrid system for a total of 1,050PS, an evolution of what came before combined with new technology under the skin. However, the visual side represents a massive departure, with design cues inspired by the 512 S and 512 M - not the 80s Testarossa for many reasons - with the optional Assetto Fiorano to dial up the sport prowess further. Today we're going to explore in detail the design of the new model, as well as the interior and the big changes that come into it from the SF90. Of course the big question is to work towards my own decision on whether an 849 Testarossa will join the Shmeemobiles - let's see!
