Car-rep 2K epoxy exhibits excellent anti-corrosive properties making it the perfect coating to prime, seal and protect any bare metal. Car-rep 2K Epoxy can be topcoated with most paints including 2 pack, acrylic lacquer and enamel. It goes great under bedliner coatings like Raptor Liner and Robliner. It can be primed with 2K high build primer filler and you can apply body filler to it. If you are stripping panels back to bare metal but you don't want to mix 2K epoxy primer and put it through a spray gun, Car-rep 2K Epoxy is the perfect product for you. The 2K aerosol with a difference! Another great feature of the Car-rep 2K Epoxy aerosol is you get to use the entire can. The regular style 2K aerosol cans that you may be familiar with have a major limitation due to the way they are designed. When you activate the product inside you have a limited amount of time to use that product, which is usually around 2-3 hours. Any paint left in the can after that time goes hard, it’s no longer usable and it ends up in the bin. However, the new Car-rep 2K Epoxy spray cans have a unique way of reducing waste. The hardener is not activated until it comes out of the nozzle, leaving all of the product left in the can un-activated. The paint left in the can is good to go again when you need it.
