Follow along in this Inkscape screen capture showing how to: 1. Use Stellarium for star chart map data. *Right click download feature has been disabled. Screen grab desired area instead. 2. Create specific dimensions to your map and poster/ wall art border. 3. Make a vector file from the Stellarium data inside of Inkscape. 4. Clean up the star map using Trace Bitmap and the Bezier Pen tool in Inkscape 5. Add an azimuth spherical grid over your star map with the Polar Grid tool. 6. Clip and Crop your stars to fit the night sky background.
