#poundcake #lemonadestrawberry #southerndessert #soulfood #bestever #moist #tangy #musttry #cookingwithMs.O Strawberry Lemonade Pound Cake 1 3 ounce box of strawberry jello 5 large eggs 2 sticks of unsalted butter{at room temperature softened 2 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of canola oil 1 cup of whole milk 3 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry extract 1/2 pound of fresh strawberries diced small 1/3 cup of frozen concentrated lemonade. 1 tablespoon of sugar 1 small lemon Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees and butter and flour tube pan well. Set aside. Meanwhile mix the strawberries, lemonade and sugar in a small sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. Let mixture cool then puree.Cream the sugar, butter,oil and jello for 5 minutes, color will be a light red.Add 1 egg at a time for 10 seconds each. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together set aside.Add 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry extract and 2 tablespoons of the strawberry purée and mix for 2 minutes.Alternate the flour and milk mixture ending with flour.Mix lightly making sure not to over mix. Place in Tube Pan spreading evenly for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes at clean. Once cake is finished let cool for about 20 minutes then invert on plate.Then take strawberry purée and brush all over cake with a silicone brush. Top with fresh strawberries and twisted lemon wedges. Enjoy 😊
