After our eldest daughter, Rio, was born, the COVID-19 pandemic spread, leading to lockdowns, so we have never had the chance to meet Grandpa and Grandma in person. We've been sending them photos of our granddaughter by mail, and they've watched her move and grow through videos on YouTube. (We're not great with digital stuff... but we could manage YouTube!) We had planned to visit them in May 2023 after the lockdowns ended, but unfortunately, I fell ill, and we couldn't make the trip. Following the birth of our second daughter, Lisa, we finally made the visit. Though we couldn't fulfill the wish of letting them hold Rio as a baby, we're so glad they could hold Lisa.
