In this episode of Let's Play 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim; we are introduced to Megumi. She is a student that, one day, comes across a sentinel that crashed before her. She soon falls in love with a student from another time and meets a talking cat. What a life... 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a side scrolling narrative based game sprinkled with some light real-time strategy segments. You play as 13 different highschool students in various chapters where they see themselves piloting huge mechas (called Sentinels) against an army of Kaiju. The characters will see themselves traveling through time but the story is mostly based in Japan in the 1980s. The game was developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus. It was released in 2019 on the Playstation 4 and then on the Nintendo Switch in April of 2022. The game is composed of side scrolling narrative based gameplay where the story unfolds followed by real-time strategy battles.
