Why would we stay in a town that we would never normally stop at and just drive past on our way to well, somewhere else? We were meant to be soaking hot pools and hunting snow in Hanmer Springs but instead we have come to Parnassus to stay a night at the NZMCA park as our diesel heater is once again playing up. There is a company in Cheviot about 15 mins south that can fix it so we ended up here. Turns out the diesel heater isn’t working for a possibly very simple reason… Marcel is toying with the idea of buying a new one before next winter as our one is very old.
