Doodle World, First Key Guardian Any%, Doodle World Speedrun This is my first ever speedrun (not counting a casual speedrun to get to Box Land of Unboxing Simulator I did a while ago, which I didn't time and took breaks to sleep for). I went in with only the knowledge that I wanted Furzen, Bunsweet, and Pebblett (they all seemed good) as well as remembering a few of the doodles from the required battles (but not even close to all of them and pretty much none of their moves). Rules (which I've created): Time starts when the 'New Game' button is clicked, and stops at the conclusion of the battle cutscene with the first Key Guardian. No pausing the timer. Gamepasses, codes, trading, roulette, and other gem purchases are not allowed. All other strategies are fair game. There is definitely room for improvement on this, but I needed to run something to get this as an official speedrun category on Speedrun.com, so they can have my first, unprepped for attempt. If the speedrun category is accepted, I will have much more motivation to improve this time. I believe sub hour is possible, and I would grind out runs until I achieved at least that. The way wish_z has the game currently makes it so that a new account has to be created for each speedrun attempt, but perhaps getting this as a category on speedrun.com will incentivize him into designing a save file option which can be deleted but also makes all roulette doodles trade-locked, just so that speedrunners don't have to create new accounts for each run. There are points when the audio bugs or Roblox lags, I can't control these and I doubt anyone else can, so you'll just have to deal with a run that sucks but also looks suspicious. Sorry. I've learned some valuable things from this epic fail. Namely: 1. Pupskey/Furzen is OP 2. Never underestimate Rosecoon/Thornet (they are a MUST in this run) 3. Bunsweet also good (which I figured going into the run) 4. Which people have what doodles, and how to counter them (to some extent) 5. People can see you from REALLY far away
