Today I'm taking you through what I eat in a day meal by meal. This is the latest evolution of my diet that. I have tried to balance my current way of eating between being sustainable long-term while also being clean and enjoying foods I like here and there. If all you do is eat boneless skinless chicken breast, and broccoli for every meal, you're probably going to hate you're life. What I've done here is try to center my diet around my protein needs, and fill in the rest of the macros with a balance between fruits, vegetables, and occasional indulgent snacks. This is very similar to the methodology I used to cut that last bit of weight when I got down to 169 lbs, however I've improved a couple aspects. I was restricting my total number of calories by way too much back then, which caused me to feel worse than I needed to, and lose more muscle than I needed to. Since then, I've learned to take the TDEE calculator and MyFitnessPal readings with a grain of salt, and focus more on how I feel and my progress from week to week and month to month rather than day to day. I find an amount of estimated calories that I feel good at, and maintain a relatively consistent scale weight at, then I cut back little by little from there. I have also cut out most alcohol, which frees up calories that can be obtained from more satiating foods.
