We bought expended mushroom logs to use as an amendment to our garden soil and compost, but that is not the only use. We are also experimenting with the logs in one of our indoor growing setups to see how many organic shiitake mushrooms we can grow from these logs that only cost us .17 cents (USD) a piece.
