Like cellphones," says Komane, reflecting on their ten day stay in Darkoush, in the north of the country. They talk about the psychology of children growing up in a war zone, the challenges of reporting from deep within rebel territory, and why Omar says he wouldn't want to be even a centimeter closer to the front line then they were.
