Belagavi (Karnataka): BJP MLC CT Ravi being taken from Khanapur Police Station on December 20. FIR was filed against him on the complaint by state minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar. She alleged that he used derogatory words against her in the Legislative Council today. BJP leader CT Ravi's lawyer, Advocate Chetan, alleged that they were denied entry to the Khanapur Police Station for 1.5 hours despite having the right to meet Ravi during police custody. Upon meeting Ravi, they drafted a complaint for an FIR due to threats to his life, but the police failed to register it.
