There are two traits combined with a certain building however that make this class really the best class in Loop Hero. If you want the best Necromancer build it's going to take an ancestral crypt, groves, graveyards, vampire mansions, thickets (forests), and rivers. When you combine all these things you can get 400% attack speed and infinitely scaling HP. The most important part of being invincible in Loop Hero is to get the Unseen Care trait and the Laying Down One's Life trait. The unseen care will give a permanent +0.5 bonus to the energy armor every time skeleton is summoned. When you combine this with attack speed you can purposefully use weaker skeletons so that you have to summon more times per battle, which will lead to farming more magic HP per loop. If done correctly you can have over 1,000 magic HP by loop 10 to 12 depending on when you got the trait. As for laying down one's life, this trait is required to stay alive in the mid and late game. Without it, the necromancer eventually will get unlucky and enough enemies will attack him directly that even the magic HP can't save him. Once he has laying down one's life he'll never lose much HP because with the +400% attack speed from the thickets and rivers he'll always have four skeletons to split damage with. As for the rivers and thickets, run the river down then up, or up then down, and then across to the other side and do the same thing. Thickets can get the bonus from the river multiple times, so make sure to have a line of rivers, then a line of thickets, then a line of rivers coming back across to double stack thicket bonuses.
