Wheel to wheel in a Tesla! Gridlife Model 3 Challenge Heat 1 @ Thunderhill East | P2 Finish

Competed in the 2024 Gridlife Model 3 Challenge at Thunderhill East. This event is a hybrid form of wheel-to-wheel and time attack where we compete for position while safely passing using dedicated detection zones (only 2 cars can pass per zone). All cars have the MPP cooling party equipped to keep the power level equal among the different platforms and allow us to run 6~7 laps around this track without being thermally throttled. I qualified 2nd and started the race in 4th due to the reverse grid for top 5 finishers. Managed to get up to 1st for a while but made some mistakes and struggled to keep up with Steven in 1st.
