Hello friends! I'm excited to share a new series, turning thrift store bird houses into magical settings from beloved stories. We'll be shopping at two local thrift stores to see what they have to offer for budget-friendly garden decor. I have already been collecting thrift store bird houses this past summer, so I have a decent selection to work with. I think it's better to aim for houses under $5, as this gives you more room (budget wise) to purchase supplies for your bird house makeover. We'll also be visiting Michaels craft store to see what selections that have for helping our bird house upcycle come to life. While you can absolutely purchase what you need for these bird house makeovers, you can also forage items and create them for free - the most sustainable and budget-friendly option there is!
