Spiritual and devotional preparation Sincere intention: Set your intentions to get closer to Allah this month. Allah has decreed good deeds and evil deeds, and then He has explained this. Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, Allah records it for him as a complete good deed. If he intends to do it and then does it, Allah records it for him as ten good deeds, up to seven hundred times, and even more. Whoever intends to do an evil deed but does not do it, Allah records it for him as a complete good deed. If he intends to do it and then does it, Allah records it for him as one evil deed. (Sahih) Al-Bukhari, page or number: 6491 Repentance and seeking forgiveness: Seek forgiveness for sins, for they are an obstacle to acts of obedience. O people, Allah is good and accepts only what is good. Allah commanded the believers with what He commanded the messengers, saying: {O messengers, eat from the good things and do righteous deeds. Indeed, I am Knowing of what you do.} [Al-Mu'minun: 51], and He said: {O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you.} [Al-Baqarah: 172]. Then He mentioned the man who travels a long distance, disheveled and dusty, stretching his hands towards the sky, O Lord, O Lord, his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he has been nourished with unlawful things. How then can his prayer be answered?! (Muslim 1015) O Messenger of Allah, I have not seen you fast in any month as much as you fast in Sha'ban. He said: That is a month that people neglect, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which deeds are raised to the Lord of the Worlds, and I like my deeds to be raised while I am fasting. The Quran and prayer: Reflect on the Quran and prepare for night prayers and Tarawih prayers. “Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.” [Al-Isra: 9] The month of Ramadan in which the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and the criterion. (Al-Baqarah 2:185) Many names for Qiyam al-Layl (night prayer): Qiyam prayer, Tahajjud, Tarawih Narrated by Al-Bukhari (37) and Muslim (759) on the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever prays during Ramadan with faith and expectation of reward will have his previous sins forgiven.” The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) prayed one night in the mosque, and some people prayed with him. Then he prayed again the following night, and the number of people increased. Then they gathered again on the third or fourth night, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not come out to them. When morning came, he said, “I saw what you did, and nothing prevented me from coming out to you except that I feared it would be made obligatory upon you.” This was during Ramadan. (Al-Bukhari 1129) Supplication: Pray to Allah that He may grant you the blessing of reaching Ramadan and help you in it, such as, "O Allah, make it a blessed month for us with security and faith..." And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. [Al-Baqarah: 186] Good deeds: honesty, charity, and avoiding backbiting, gossip, and meddling in things that don't concern you. Part of a person's good character as a Muslim is leaving what does not concern him. Guidelines for Taraweeh prayers Shortening the prayer, I stand for prayer intending to prolong it, but then I hear a child crying, so I shorten it, lest I cause hardship for his mother. [Sahih Abi Dawud (789), and it was also narrated by Al-Bukhari (707) with a slight difference.] Shorter than a prayer There is no need for a lesson, a word, or a sermon. There is no need to complete the recitation of the Quran during prayer. Facilitate entry and exit from the mosque; do not stand to greet and hug your friend while there is a queue behind you. The organizers were lenient with the worshippers, and the worshippers cooperated with the organizers with mutual respect. The Messenger of (PBUH) said: Allah said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for Me, and I will reward for it. Fasting is a shield. When one of you is fasting, let him not engage in obscene talk or raise his voice. If someone insults him or fights with him, let him say, “I am fasting.” By Him in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the breath of the fasting person is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. The fasting person has two joys: the joy of breaking the fast, and the joy of meeting his Lord and being rewarded for his fasting. (Al-Bukhari 1904) "I am fasting" is said to someone who has done wrong, not as an excuse for negligence. Physical and home preparation
