REVIEW: LEGO City 60472 Scrapyard - Coolest LEGO City Set Ever?

LEGO CITY | 60472 Scrapyard | 7+ | 871 pcs, 4 minifigs and a puppy | 80 USD In this video we look at LEGO City set 60472, the Scrapyard, which came out January 2025. It is a very fun build, and harkens back to earlier sets and even a Hot Wheels set. The theming itself is what got me hooked on the set; Miami (and pretty much most major cities) has several industrial areas with scrap and junkyards. This set matches the scene from 007: Goldfinger where Oddjob takes a beautiful Cadillac to be destroyed at Atlantic Iron and Metal. The cars are very detailed; the designers did a great job creating the crushed car builds, and the set functions generally pretty well (except for the click hinge on the crane). The vehicles are very detailed and match the energy of similar recent releases. Younger builders get plenty of play options and possibilities. Older builders either looking to display this or story-tell also get a versatile platform to do so.
