It is quite exciting to have a few different RGB options for the Intellivision now. The latest RGB board created by The Crayon King provides not only excellent RGB output, but also composite and s-video output that among the best I've seen from a retro console. In this video I go through process I typically use to install one of these new 'Orange Peel' RGB boards into a model 1 Intellivision console. ----------------------- Time Stamps:- 00:00 - Intro 00:36 - RGB kit contents & RGB board details 05:42 - Recommended Tools for the job 06:52 - Intellivision Disassembly (Sped up) 08:13 - RGB board placement & some initial wiring locations 12:22 - QSB details & installation 18:40 - RGB board prep & mini din installation 21:19 - RGB Installation & wiring 24:13 - Wiring summary & details 27:24 - Initial Testing (Will it provide awesomeness?) 30:38 - Sample screen capture stills & Outro ----------------------- Parts & Tools Needed/Featured:- Orange Peel RGB Kit #2 Phillips head Screwdriver Wire strippers Hakko 936/907 Soldering Station De-soldering braid/wick Flush Cutters Tweezers 18 - 20 sections of various wire lengths Cleaning supplies (toothbrush & IPA) ------------------------- Orange Peel RGB boards can be purchased from Crayon King's Ebay Store listed below: https://www.ebay.com/usr/crayola_the_... ------------------------- A printable and detailed installation PDF guide is available from the link below: https://tinyurl.com/2fxm87xj ------------------------- Intro and outro music :- "Chroma Mirage" by Luis Quintero (Bitonal Landscape) composed exclusively for the Ivory Tower Collections.
