As we enter the holiday season we are taking a break from our Oregon Coast Series to spend time with family and friends. Climatologically, there is only about a 10% chance on average of an inch of snow on the ground at Sea-Tac Airport on Christmas each year, with a greater chance of snow at higher elevations away from Puget Sound. Here at 500', we are receiving our first snowfall of the season on December 20th and while chances typically are very low for a white Christmas it's looking like it actually might happen this year.
