Game: Worms Blast Objective(s): In-Game 100%, All Unlockables, All High Scores Completion Time: 10:15:31.5 (10th November 2025) Box Art: Scanned directly from the game box inlay. -------------------------------------------------- The goal of this challenge is to complete as many PAL GameCube games as I can, doing 100% or completionist playthroughs where possible. This challenge was inspired by tapioca ( / tapioca ) and MisterRadon ( / misterradon , Twitch streamers who have done console challenges of the GameCube and N64 respectively. There are approximately 450 PAL releases. Depending on the success of this challenge I may add games from other regions (NTSC and NTSC-J) later down the line. In general I will play games in order of their PAL release date, if multiple games were released on the same day then I will arbitrarily pick the order. This game was played using an original disc on an Nintendo Wii, both PAL versions. Game footage was captured using an Elgato HD60 S capture card and recorded using Open Broadcast Studios (OBS). The timer was created using Livesplit. Where applicable, recordings were merged using Avidemux. -------------------------------------------------- The 48th game in this challenge is Worms Blast. The objective of this playthrough did not have an official speedrun category at the time of upload. This is the first time I have played this game. In this video I beat every level in Puzzle mode, unlock the three bonus characters and obtain a high score in all the Tournament modes. This was a decent enough puzzle game, I enjoyed the flash game-like vibes and the general mechanics. The major problems with this are the poor level designs and the inconsistent difficulty curve, the final level in particular was very badly designed and left me feeling pretty frustrated. Aside from that this is alright, the multiplayer and CPU competition modes are nice additions but I didn't touch them here because they (presumably) don't unlock anything. Obtaining a high score in all the Tournament modes was simply an additional requirement I gave myself since I finished the playthrough (relatively) quickly.
