Real Life CreepyPasta - Pokemon Blue Internal Battery Issue

So I recently bought a GameBoy Pocket at the flea market (typical pasta start), but that's not where the problem lies, it's with my 20ish year old copy of Pokemon Blue. Now, first off, even as a kid, so maybe 13ish years ago, this game would not save. I would get to the first or 2nd gym and then I stopped playing, and it would never keep my save. It's been sitting on my desk or in a cabinet for a while, I put in the cartridge and it absolutely freaked out. It's just a little ironic that a lot of CreepyPasta stories are out now and I pick up my beloved (broken) copy of Blue and the first thing I hear when trying to make a new game is the sound of a Ghastly. I'll replace the battery soon, but I'll just put this here so I don't forget this creepiness P:
