A unique Boyko house from the village of Plavya was moved to the tourist destination of Tustan, Lviv region, Ukraine! It was installed next to another authentic hut - the cultural center "Hata in Hlubokyi". The building will become another heritage tourism object of the Tustan destination. A house from the village of Plavya with a carved gallery is one of the last surviving examples of the local school of folk architecture. The house could have been built by one of the valuable wooden Boyko churches of this neighborhood. Such objects disappear with the development of villages. The initiator and head of the project, Andriy Kotlyarchuk, believes that such a project is not the last to be implemented in Tustan. After all, the preservation and multiplication of authentic buildings within the tourist destination is important for the sustainable development of the village of Urych, for the preservation of its tourist potential. This project is proposed as a starting point for heritage tourism operators to systematically fill the tourist areas of the Carpathians with adapted authentic objects of folk architecture. The Tustan team is ready to share the experience of the project with everyone. The project was implemented with the financial support of the Prince Claus Foundation and the Cultural Emergency Response Organization (CER), the Netherlands, with the assistance of the Tustan NGO and the Tustan site museum.
