How to set up the AdvancedFrame Kayak from Advanced Elements AE1012

Hey this is Emily at Oz Inflatable Kayaks and in this video I'm going to show you how to set up the AdvancedFrame Kayak - one of my favourites from Advanced Elements. This kayak takes about five minutes to set up from in the bag to on the water and it's pretty simple as well as being really quick. It's one of my favourite things about it. So you firstly take it out of the bag, it comes with that bag it's really nice and you unfold the kayak and you start inflating the inner tube. Now this is really important, the inner tube is not actually one chamber it's two basically there's a vertical wall that runs all the way down the inner tube. Now what that means is that when you go to inflate chamber one like he's doing here and you must use the screw on valve. By the way, to do this rather than the push-on, if you want a pressure reading is you see he says here until the kayak appears about half full. So you do not go for chamber one all the way up to pressure just till there's a bit of air in it because then what happens is when he goes to chamber two and in this case he's going to 2 PSI that vertical wall which they call a baffle; it allows the pressure to push back onto chamber one and equalise to 2 PSI across the kayak. Now with the floor chamber it's a twist valve so sometimes you have to hold the pump on to the end of the valve same with these little twist valves. In fact, I just used my mouth for the deck lifts because it's like one breath of air and he's about to do the coaming on the spray skirt which is also one breath of air. So I just do use my mouth for that. The coaming is great for keeping a bit of splash off but you can also use it to put on a spray skirt so it makes this kayak really versatile cause you can take it out in choppy water or in really cold climates and stay warm and dry. Pushes in the deck separators clips in the seats are now really lovely high back seats. This is an older model he's showing you with here and away you go.
