ABOUT THIS MONTH'S MEET: The last monthly meet of the year before we head into the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Season. We have large turkey targets at 50 yards and smaller, cartoonish turkeys at 25 yards. Both targets are ten shots each. Our shoots are light-hearted merriment with fun and camaraderie. Prized are given to top 4 or top 5 depending on number of shooters. The TRBPS educate youth from all over the southeast on the history and handling of black powder, muzzleloading and other ancient arms. The charter club has their shooting meets on the 4th Saturday of each month February through October, and the 3rd Saturday in November. We were created as a result of our parent club sponsoring youth organizations training and education for over 1,000 youth and adults a year for over 13 years and we needed some time to shoot our guns, work on them and interact with like minded adults. We believe in friendly competition but not at the expense of our friendship and fellowship. We shoot the 4th Saturday of the month except November which is the third.
