Let's go over the recent BAWWW-letion of all Maldavius' lives on YouTube (and Twitch, for that matter), and the immediate repercussions these actions have for his channels. He allegedly deleted all lives and VODs off Twitch and YouTube in an attempt to deter people from digging into his past to farm drama, but everything is already dissected and archived on Kiwi Farms. I compare this and the possible misuse of his community's donations/funding allegations with the crashout of Foodie Beauty and the ultimate destruction of her channel by her own hands through similar actions. His public misuse of funds dates back to his initial Kickstarter campaign, where he apparently relied on the community to fund his salary for the many years it's taken for him to not release the funded game. He even relies on Steam Early Access and OST sales to continue grifting his audience while not finishing the game. I'm calling this a grift as others are since he is continuing to drop minor line edits in the code and patch note updates to maintain criteria to keep his game up on Steam instead of admitting he's just burnt out on it and stepping away for a bit, which is totally understandable as a creative. He can't do the normal thing and instead is grifting money since his popularity has skyrocketed and the interest in what he's working on has peaked.
