Gilbert Hill is a 66-million-year-old, 200-foot-tall monolithic column of black basalt rock located in Andheri, Mumbai, often called "India's Devil's Tower". It is a rare geological structure formed during the Mesozoic Era from cooling volcanic lava, with only two similar formations existing worldwide in the USA.  Geological Significance: It is an igneous intrusion, part of the same volcanic activity that formed the Deccan Traps. Location: Situated in the middle of a densely populated area in Andheri West, Mumbai. Top Features: The top features a small garden and two Hindu temples: the Gaondevi Temple and Durga Mata Temple.
