Director Grace Lee talks about her journey as a filmmaker telling stories about uniquely Asian American experiences. With the help of mentors and organizations such as the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), she has grown from a young college graduate exploring the world of film to a prolific director who has created films such as THE GRACE LEE PROJECT, AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY, OFF THE MENU, AND SHE COULD BE NEXT, and her latest documentary BTS ARMY: FOREVER WE ARE YOUNG. Find out why she believes the community fostered by CAAM is especially critical during this time when public media and independent storytelling face unprecedented challenges.
