Every year l'Amateur de Cigare, a French Magazine is releasing the results of their committee's tasting in a special issue called Havanoscope. The Committee members are tasting and rating every single Habano on the market including Limited and Regional Editions and electing the Habano of the Year. The Habano of the Year for 2023 was the Montecristo Double Edmundo. The Habano of the Year 2024 is a lighter flavoured cigar launched in 2009.
