The Sunset Projects - SP:002 Welcome to our second production from The Sunset Projects... SP:002, this time filmed on the HMS Wilton in Leigh on Sea, the home of Essex Yacht Club. Once again our aim is to combine the amazing scenery and locations here in the Southend area along with music produced by local and international producers to create a unique video and soundtrack perfect for a beautiful sunset. Shot at the end of September and the day before our first video launched online, it was looking unlikely for a while the shoot would go ahead, but luckily enough the wind dropped and the cloud cleared just in time to give us an amazing sunset. HMS Wilton was a prototype coastal minesweeper for the Royal Navy and was the first warship to be created from fibre glass. Purchased in 2001 she has since been decommissioned and in 2004, after extensive conversion works, she was ready for service. Being immune to the rust problems that ended the careers of her forebears, she will house the club for generations to come and has been home to the Essex Yacht Club ever since.
