As played by Joe Dart on his Joe Dart Music Man Bass, and Woody Goss on the Reverb Cowbell. 🎸🎶Play along with the Bassraoke! (bass-karaoke) • VULFPECK /// New Beastly (Bassraoke) 🎸🎶 Check out my bass cover of "Tender Defender"! • VULFPECK /// Tender Defender (Bass Co... This song from @Vulf's Clarity of Cal has such cool bass and cowbell lines that I couldn't help myself from transcribing them. I'll probably attempt a full bass cover sometime in the future (it's not exactly easy to play, so it may be a while!). Cowbell's sadly out of my skillset for now. Transcribed on MuseScore with help from the wonderful "Transcribe!" software (by Seventh String) for those lightning fast parts. Original video ligthly edited (some zooms on the Joe Dart Bass). I haven't indicated necessarily Joe's fingerings, but the ones I use when playing it. They usually happen to be the same as his, but I for example seem to like to use my pinky (finger 4) much more, while Joe favours the ring finger (3). Also some parts might be a bit weird because I've tried to transcribe what I hear, and not what I think Joe wanted to play (it's still always remarkably close, though!). It's still not 100% accurate — I've seen a few minor discrepancies already, I've just re-exported the project way too many times already, I'll never be done if I try to catch them all! Trying a new format here, you all can tell me how it is in terms of legibility and clarity (pun not intended), and if you'd like to see me do any other songs! While you're here, mayyybe check out the Short where I covered the main riff and first break? (link in the end screen).
