Last Wednesday, Tri State Area Railfanning and I decided to head over to Philipsburg for a bit to see some trains on the Lehigh Line. We stayed for just about 5 hours and saw quite a bit of action in the morning, but we didn’t see anything in the afternoon. We saw 22X with a Dash 9 leader and 2 BNSFs that was awesome to see! This was also my very first time ever seeing 22X at Philipsburg. 29G had 4 engines and an awesome conductor. We also saw 18N with a thoroughbred AC446M leading as I was told there’s only three of them right now! 18N was huge as it had 99 cars. K76 also had a GP38-3 trailing that was cool to see as well! Anyway, this was a nice railfanning morning! I was also with Rails of the Eastern Iron 1: 2 MOW vehicles pass by 2: 2 Norfolk Southern AC446Ms and an ES44AC pulling a trash train 3: 2 Norfolk Southern AC446Ms pulling an intermodal train 4: Norfolk Southern D9-40CW, a BNSF ET44C4 and an ES44AC pulling an intermodal train 5: 4 Norfolk Southern AC446Ms pulling an intermodal train 6: Norfolk Southern ES44DC and an SD70ACe pulling an intermodal train 7: Norfolk Southern AC446M pulling an autorack train with another AC446M trailing in the middle as a DPU 8: Norfolk Southern ET44AC, a D9-44CW, an SD70ACe and a GP38-3 pulling a manifest train 9: Norfolk Southern AC446M pulling an autorack train with another AC446M trailing in the middle as a DPU
