Smite 2's Unsolvable Problem

Smite 2's Publisher, Hi Rez, is classing Smite 2's current state as a failure. Less than 2 months have passed since Smite 2's Alpha went live and Hi Rez has announced a massive amount of employee layoffs because of how poorly Smite 2 is performing currently. But Why? I have identified a lot of smaller issues and one major issue that contributes to Smite 2's current experience to be... underwhelming. I don't some of the issues can be resolved without a complete rework of the game. What are your thoughts? P.S - I do not hate Smite 2, I am not making this video to be overly critical of any individual person. If you love something, you must hold it to a high standard so that it can continue to grow and become better.
