In today’s seafood series we have prepared one of the famous Mangalorean delicacy Bangude Masala Fry Recipe. The aroma of coconut oil and masala makes this dish very unique. In this video, we have prepared Mangalore Style Fish Fry. Mackerel Fish Fry is must have dish if you are visiting Mangalore or Udupi – Karnataka, India. It’s a very Simple Bangda Masala Fry Recipe. Please follow all steps and watch it till end for all tips and tricks. So let’s start with our Mangalorean Fish Fry Recipe. BEST Bangda Fish Fry | Authentic Mangalorean Fish Fry Ingredients: Bangda Fish – 1 Kg Tamarind – 2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 2 tsp Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp Hing (Asafoetida) – ½ tsp Rice Flour – 1 tbsp Salt Coconut Oil – 5 tbsp Curry Leaves – 1 tbsp Mangalore Style Bangude Fish Masala Fry | Mangalorean Mackerel Masala Fry: Step 1: Add half cup Tamarind Juice in a bowl, add Red Chilli Powder, Kashmiri Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Hing (Asafoetida), Rice Flour and Salt. Mix Well. Step 2: Apply masala paste on Bangda Fish. Keep it in a container and refrigerate it for 2 hours. Step 3: In a frying pan, add 5 tbsp Coconut Oil. Add 1 tbsp Curry Leaves. Step 4: Fry Fish on medium flame. Fry on both side for 3 minutes each. Serve it hot.
