Space Technology: A Woman's Side of the Story | Ana Cristina Galhego Rosa | TEDxFrankfurt

Ana Cristina shares with the TEDx talk her experience, her advice and how she mentors girls and women to follow careers in the Space sector. Ana Cristina is a lawyer and entrepreneur in the space industry with working experience over 10 years. Originally from Brazil, she holds post-graduation studies in space law and worked in governmental and non-governmental organizations in the same field. As an entrepreneur she founded her company DIPTERON UG in 2018 being responsible for the strategic concept and focusing on business development. Ana Cristina is a member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), Women Aerospace in Europe (WIA-Europe) and the Brazilian Association of Air and Space Law (SBDA). She has published articles in the space sector and throughout her career won 15 awards and the most recent with her company that had its product among the 15 most prominent in Europe using earth observation data satellites. Currently she was also selected as one of the mentors of the UNOOSA space4women platform.
